Scottsdale and Phoenix Collector Car Auctions this weekend
January provides the best collector car auctions in Scottsdale, Arizona each year. The car auctions are a lot fun for buyers, sellers, and spectators alike. Scottsdale is known as the place to be for some of the best collector car auctions in the country.
There are five major events that make up Scottsdale Collector Car Auction Week. Having attended many of these events, I assure you this is great fun for kids of all ages.
Barrett Jackson Classic Car Auction January 10-18
The most well-attended car auction in the Valley, Barrett-Jackson is suitable for families with classic and vintage cars at auction. They also have a large vendor show in case shopping is part of the experience for you. If you’re a car, event, or people watching enthusiast, I look forward to seeing you there.
This year’s line up includes cars from the legendary Ron Pratte Collection. Experts believe his epic car collection could bring as much as 50 million dollars. Just a few that will be auctioned off are Carroll Shelby’s personal 1969 Cobra purchased by Pratte in 2008, his 1950 GM Futurliner, the über rare 1954 Pontiac Bonneville, and Prattes 1945 Tucker Torpedo #1045.
